WHO WE ARE

We're [Owner Name] and [Owner Name] — two people who've been playing guitar since before we could drive and buying guitars for almost as long. We started Rockland Guitar Works in 2025 because we kept running into the same problem.

You'd order a guitar online — sometimes spending serious money — and it would show up with the action a mile high, the intonation off, and a setup that felt like nobody had actually played the thing before boxing it up. Or worse, the listing photos looked nothing like what arrived.

So we decided to do it ourselves. Every guitar that goes through Rockland gets played, inspected, photographed honestly, and set up properly before it ships. That's it. That's the whole pitch.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Buying a guitar should feel exciting, not stressful. You shouldn't have to wonder if the neck is straight, or if the pickups actually work, or if the "vintage" label on the listing is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

We're small on purpose. We don't carry thousands of SKUs because we'd rather have 50 guitars we'd personally vouch for than 500 we've never touched. When you call us, you talk to the people who picked the guitar, set it up, and packed it.

If that sounds like the kind of shop you've been looking for, we're glad you found us.

Our Approach

HOW WE DO THINGS

Honest Listings

If there's a ding, a scratch, or a replaced part, we tell you. We photograph every guitar from multiple angles under consistent lighting. What you see is what arrives — or you send it back, no questions asked.

Real Setups

We don't slap strings on and call it done. Every guitar gets a proper setup — truss rod, action, intonation, pickup height, nut slots. It leaves here ready to play a gig, not ready to go to a tech.

Curated, Not Crammed

We're not trying to be the biggest guitar shop on the internet. We'd rather carry instruments we've personally vetted than fill a warehouse with inventory we've never played.

People Over Policies

Got a question about a neck profile? Want to know how heavy a guitar actually is? Call us. We'll tell you the truth — even if it means talking you into a cheaper guitar that's a better fit.
